If anyone remembers when the 360 came out there was talk of a game called Huxley. It was an ambitious game looking to define a genre known as Massively Multiplayer Online First Person Shooter Role Playing Games, or MMOFPSRPG for short. Well years passed with only a few screenshots and maybe a teaser trailer every 6 or 7 months. Today, May 7th, Webzen announced that sign-ups for a closed beta had started along with the launching of a new website and online portal hosted by ijji.com. The site has some background history, character breifings, a sneak peak at a few vehicles and enemies, and most importantly a sign-up form for the closed beta which will be starting June 4th. There is still no word on a release window or information about the Xbox 360 version, but a beta test is a hell of way to show that they’re still working on the damn thing. I hope it’s good after all this time.
